A LETTER FROM PHILANTHROPY: Alpha Xi Delta's Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella of ourphilanthropic focus- supporting children experiencing foster care or homelessness. The Iota Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta holds a variety of annual fundraisers like Xiti with the Xi’s, Xingo, and Letters of Love. All proceeds from these events go to our key philanthropic organizations, FosterClub and StandUp for Kids. FosterClub and StandUp for Kids provides children that are in foster care or experiencing homelessness access to a variety of resources like counseling, housing, education, mentoring, and much more.Locally, the Iota Psi chapter is partnered with Clare House, a transitional housing program in Lancaster, PA, whose mission is to not only provide housing and support services to women and children that walk through their doors but to also equip them to start their journey towards a stable and rewarding life. The sisters of the Iota Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta are dedicated to reinforcing the ideals these organizations were founded on. We believe in helping others, spreading kindness, and paying it forward. The Kindly Hearts Initiative
The Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our national philanthropic focus of supporting children and teens experiencing foster care or homelessness. Alpha Xi Deltas across the country support two Key Impact Organizations, FosterClub and StandUp for Kids, making a national and regional difference under the umbrella of our focus. Letters of Love
All Alpha Xi Delta chapters and alumnae associations participate in Letters of Love, Alpha Xi Delta’s national letter writing fundraising campaign. Held annually during the month of November this campaign benefits Alpha Xi Delta’s two Key Impact Organizations, StandUp for Kids and FosterClub. To learn more about Letters of Love, click here.
