Letter From Membership Vice President
Dear Potential New Member,
Hi! My name is Ayla Saferstein and I’m the Membership Vice President of the Iota Psi Chapter of Alpha Xi Delta. I’m an incoming senior from Weston, CT working on a Psychology major and English minor. I, along with the rest of my chapter, absolutely cannot wait to meet all of you!
If you had told me when I first arrived at Franklin & Marshall that I would join a sorority, much less hold an executive board position, I would have laughed out loud. Going through Primary Recruitment and joining a sorority was something I never pictured myself doing. However, as I prepare to begin my senior year, I could not be more grateful that I decided to go out of my comfort zone and give recruitment a chance.
Joining the Panhellenic community, and specifically, Alpha Xi Delta, has given me everything I dreamed of and more when coming to college. I have found my group of women who will always be there for me no matter what, who allow me to be completely myself, and who push me to realize my potential. My sisters have become my best friends, my roommates, my people. I can say without a doubt that my time at Franklin & Marshall would not have been the same if I hadn’t met the ladies of Alpha Xi Delta.
If you have any questions about recruitment, our chapter, or sorority life in general, please don’t hesitate to reach out at email@example.com!! I look forward to hearing from you soon!
