Letter From Philanthropy Vice President

Alpha Xi Delta's Kindly Hearts Initiative serves as the umbrella to our philanthropic focus on supporting children experiencing foster care or homelessness. In the past, the Iota Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta has done a variety of fundraisers like our annual Xiti with the Xi’s, Xingo, and letters of love for our Kindly Hearts Initiative, in which all proceeds go towards our key organizations which are FosterClub and StandUp for Kids. FosterClub and StandUp for Kids provide children that are in foster care or experiencing homelessness access to a variety of resources like support systems, housing, education, mentoring, and many more.

Locally, the Iota Psi chapter is partnered with the Milagro House, a local organization in Lancaster, PA, whose mission is to not only provide education, housing, and support services to women and children that walk in through their doors, but to also give them the tools to break the cycle of homelessness and poverty. 

The sisters of the Iota Psi chapter of Alpha Xi Delta strongly believe in helping others, spreading kindness, and paying it forward. These values strengthen our sisterhood and reinforce the ideals that Alpha Xi Delta was founded on.
